As 2019 comes to a close, we want to pause and say thank you! Our many friends, supporters, volunteers, and partners have enabled us to continue our mission of supporting couples as they transition from homelessness to independent living.
This year, ZPC received $192,000 in individual contributions and close to 700 hours of volunteer support.
Successfully navigating through the experience of homelessness begins with access to a safe space and basic services, followed by intensive coaching and life skills development. This year we provided such services to 80 couples, Despite the many barriers our couples face (behavioral health challenges, addiction, and trauma), 57% were able to obtain stable employment and 40% to-date have obtained permanent housing.
